Rider Seriously Hurt in Arcata Accident on Old Arcata Road near Indianola Road
Arcata, California (June 8, 2022) – A motorcycle rider suffered major injuries in a collision with a vehicle on Old Arcata Road in Arcata on Wednesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened near Indianola Road at around 5:44 p.m.
A Nissan pickup collided with a Suzuki motorcycle under unclear circumstances.
CHP said the motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries.
The crash caused a closure of both lanes of Old Arcata Road as authorities investigated the incident.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
