, California (June 10, 2022) – One person was injured in a crash with a tractor in Humboldt County on Thursday afternoon, according to the authorities.

The incident happened on Highway 211 at the Salt River Bridge at around 2:23 p.m. on June 9.

Authorities said a vehicle collided with a 2011 John Deere 6430 in the area and the tractor was left hanging off the Salt River Bridge.

The tractor was reportedly hauling a 1,500-pound hay bale when the collision happened.

One person sustained minor injuries.

Highway 211 was closed as crews worked to clear the scene.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
