At Least 1 Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Collision on Marina Boulevard On-Ramp to 880 Freeway in San Leandro
San Leandro, California (June 13, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a rollover collision that happened Sunday evening in San Leandro, resulting in major injuries.
At least one person was sent to the hospital after the crash that happened just before 7 p.m. on the eastbound Marina Boulevard on-ramp to northbound 880 Freeway.
The crash involved a black Chevrolet Tahoe and a Toyota Camry. One of the cars overturned onto its roof.
Some of the occupants were able to exit the cars by themselves, while others were pulled out of the vehicles.
The report said the crash resulted in major injuries. At least one person was taken to Children's Hospital Oakland in unknown condition.
The cause of the collision will be established when authorities conclude their investigation.
