Minor Injuries Sustained in Car Crash on Interstate 680 near Olympic Boulevard Off-Ramp in Walnut Creek
Walnut Creek, California (June 13, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury accident that happened Saturday afternoon in Walnut Creek.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided at about 3:29 p.m. on southbound Interstate 680, just north of the Olympic Boulevard off-ramp.
Responding emergency crews found a blue Acura RDX with a broken right-front axle and a Honda Accord with the right-rear tire completely off the rim and the left-front wheel broken.
The accident resulted in minor injuries, the report said. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
CHP will establish the cause of the collision when they conclude their investigation.
