2 Injured in Visalia Big Rig Crash at Road 152 and Avenue 248
Visalia, California (June 14, 2022) – Two people were hospitalized after a semi-truck ran a stop sign and hit a pickup truck Monday afternoon at an intersection in Visalia.
The incident happened at about 1:52 p.m. at Road 152 and Avenue 248.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi-truck was heading eastbound on Avenue 248 and ran the stop sign at Road 152, crashing into a white Ford F-150.
Tulare County firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the intersection.
Two persons who sustained minor injuries were taken to Kaweah Delta Hospital for treatment.
CHP is investigating the incident.
