Stefanie Beltran Died in Moreno Valley Two-Vehicle Crash on 215 Freeway and 91 Freeway

Moreno Valley, California (June 15, 2022) – The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner identified the woman killed in a Tuesday morning 215 Freeway crash as 60-year-old Stefanie Beltran.
The Perris woman was involved in the collision at around 8 a.m. on the northbound 215 Freeway at the 91 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck involved a silver Toyota Tacoma and a white Ford crossover vehicle. Both cars were trying to avoid hitting a loose tire in the middle lanes.
The tire had detached from a green Chevrolet Suburban headed southbound on 215 Freeway and drifted into the northbound side.
Beltran was pronounced dead at the scene.

Moreno Valley, Clifornia (June 14, 2022) – At least one person died following a traffic collision on the San Bernardino 215 Freeway in Moreno Valley on Tuesday morning.
According to the authorities, the incident happened at Riverside 91 Freeway just after 8 a.m.
Authorities said a green Chevrolet Suburban was traveling south on the 215 Freeway when one of its tires came off and drifted into the northbound side.
The tire came to a rest in the middle lanes and caused a silver Toyota Tacoma and a white Ford crossover vehicle to collide while trying to avoid the tire.
At least one person died in the crash. Details on whether other involved parties were injured were not released.
Authorities blocked two northbound lanes for the investigation.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
Traffic Collision Fatalities Reached a 16-Year High in 2021, Early Estimates Show
Newly released estimates by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) show that fatalities reached a 16-year high last year.
According to the Early Estimate of Motor Vehicle Traffic Fatalities in 2021 report released by NHTSA, about 42,915 people were killed in traffic collisions in 2021. This shows a 10.5% increase from the 38,828 fatalities reported in 2020. NHTSA says the projection is the highest number of traffic deaths since 2005 as well as the largest percentage rise in the history of the Fatality Analysis Reporting System.
The report indicates that the traffic fatalities in the following categories showed relatively large increases in 2021, as compared to 2020;
