3 Injured in Banning Accident on Interstate 10

Banning, California (June 14, 2022) – Three people were injured when a vehicle crashed into a homeless camp in Banning on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Interstate 10 at around 8:30 a.m.
A black mustang was traveling on I-10 when it experienced a tire blowout.
The mustang struck a silver pickup truck and this caused the truck to lose control.
The truck rolled over, slammed through a fence, and crashed into a homeless encampment tent.
Three parties in the camp were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
