1 Seriously Injured in Sage Vehicle Crash at Sage Road and Trifone Road
Riverside, California (June 17, 2022) – One person was injured in a collision involving a California Department of Fish & Wildlife vehicle on Thursday evening in Sage.
The accident was reported at around 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of Sage and Trifone roads, just south of the Tucalota Springs RV Park.
The California Highway Patrol said the state law enforcement vehicle collided with a sedan near the intersection. The impact of the collision sent the sedan into a ditch, trapping the driver.
The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
The sedan driver was extricated and transported to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries.
