Eric Greenley Hurt in Weaverville Accident on Highway 299
Weaverville, California (June 18, 2022) – Eric Greenley, 38, of Weaverville, was injured in a collision that took place in Weaverville on Friday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident took place at about 9:54 a.m. on June 17, on Highway 299, west of Weaver Street.
CHP said Greenley had been driving east on Highway 299 when he stopped on the right shoulder.
When he tried to move back into the roadway, his vehicle was struck by a car driven by Kenneth Dale, 56, of Cottonwood.
Greenley sustained minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
