At Least 1 Injured in Vista Car Accident on State Highway 78 near Emerald Drive
Vista, California (June 18, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a rollover collision in Vista on Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at around 11:36 a.m. on June 17, on State Highway 78 near Emerald Drive.
A semi-truck, a Gray Hyundai Sonata, and a dark gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck were involved in the collision.
The pickup truck reportedly overturned onto its side after being hit by the SUV.
A woman was extricated by firefighters from a vehicle that was dripping fluids.
One male party sustained a broken arm in the accident.
The extent of injuries sustained in the collision was not specified.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
