4 People Hospitalized after North Sacramento Crash on Interstate 80 near Longview Off-Ramp
North Sacramento, California (June 19, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday morning traffic accident involving two vehicles that injured at least four people in North Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 4:30 a.m. on Interstate 80 near Longview off-ramp.
A vehicle was traveling west of Watt Avenue on Interstate 80 when it crashed into the center divider, the CHP said.
Shortly after, another vehicle reportedly crashed into the car that had crashed into the center divider.
Four people were seriously injured in the accident.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped due to the accident, and as of 6 a.m., the road was fully reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
