Garry Poindexter Killed in Bakersfield Motorcycle Accident on River Boulevard near Bernard Street

Bakersfield, California (June 21, 2022) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a male rider killed in a motorcycle crash on Friday, June 17, has been identified as 41-year-old Garry Donn Poindexter.
The deadly accident occurred at about 4:04 p.m. on River Boulevard near Goodman Street and Bernard Street.
As per the CHP officials, Poindexter was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a red sedan for reasons yet to be determined. Poindexter was ejected from his bike following the impact of the collision.
The responding emergency crew rushed Gary to Kern Medical Center, where he was declared dead.
Further details regarding the collision were not available.

Rider Dies in River Boulevard Crash in La Cresta/Alta Vista
Bakersfield, California (June 17, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol has confirmed that the motorcyclist who was critically injured Friday afternoon in a collision at an intersection in Bakersfield's La Cresta/Alta Vista neighborhood has died.
The fatal accident occurred at about 4:04 p.m. at River Boulevard and Bernard Street.
The rider was pronounced dead at the hospital.
