David Lowndes Arrested after Clovis Pedestrian Crash on Herndon and Sunnyside Avenues

Clovis, California (June 22, 2022) – David Lowndes, 44, of Clovis, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after striking and seriously injuring a pedestrian in Clovis on Monday night, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on Herndon and Sunnyside avenues just after 9 p.m. on June 20.
According to the authorities, Lowndes ws driving a car westbound on Herndon Avenue when he struck a man walking across the street near the Habit restaurant.
The pedestrian sustained critical injuries in the accident and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
The identity of the pedestrian was not immediately released.
Lowndes was arrested on suspicion of DUI and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
