One Hospitalized after San Luis Obispo Accident on Orcutt Road
San Luis Obispo, California (June 22, 2022) – One person was injured in an incident where a vehicle slammed into an apartment building in San Luis Obispo early Wednesday morning, according to the San Luis Obispo City Fire Department.
The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Orcutt Road just before 6:30 a.m.
Authorities said the driver of a white SUV lost control in the area and slammed into the front wall of the apartment.
One person inside the apartment sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the SUV was not hurt in the accident.
The crash left the apartment non-habitable.
The SUV was towed from the site of the accident.
Authorities are working to determine why the vehicle crashed into the building.
