Minor Injuries Suffered in Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 216 at Road 158 in Visalia
Visalia, California (June 24, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon in Visalia, resulting in minor injuries.
CHP said the incident was reported at about 4:31 p.m. on Highway 216 at Road 158.
The accident involved a white GMC Jimmy SUV and a Honda Fit.

According to a female driver who called authorities to report the collision, she was traveling on Highway 216, turning southbound onto Road 158, when the speeding SUV attempted to miss colliding with her car and lost control. The SUV crashed into the Honda and a tree.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after the crash.
An unknown number of parties sustained minor injuries.
The SUV acquired major front-end damage, and the Honda sustained left-side damage.
