Jamestown, California (June 25, 2022) – One person sustained major injuries in a that happened Saturday morning in Jamestown, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities said a motorcycle collided with a gray SUV just after 9 a.m. on Highway 108 at Rawhide Road for unknown reasons.

The rider was lying down in the roadway, and the vehicle was blocking traffic lanes when first responders arrived.

One person was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
