1 Killed in Collision on 15 Freeway near Temescal Canyon Road in Corona

, California (July 1, 2022) – One person was killed in a fiery crash involving a semi- early Friday morning in Corona, County.

The accident was reported at around 2:40 a.m. on the southbound near Temescal Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A semi-truck is reported to have collided with a sedan on the freeway in unclear circumstances.  The semi-truck caught fire after the collision.

CHP says one person was killed in the accident. The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.

More details about the accident were not released.
