, California (July 2, 2022) – One person was killed in a car crash early Saturday morning in Tracy.

At around 3:34 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to a traffic collision that happened on Highway 4 near Middle River Road.

A silver sedan was traveling on the highway when it rear-ended a Hazmat work under unclear circumstances.

Officials say one person was killed in the accident.

The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
