Cesar Tadoe-Preciado Killed in Crash at Ironwood Avenue and Heacock Street

Moreno Valley, California (July 2, 2022) – The Riverside County Sheriff's Department Coroner has released the name of the motorcycle rider who died Friday afternoon following a traffic collision at an intersection in Moreno Valley.
Cesar Tadoe-Preciado, 50 of Moreno Valley was pronounced dead at the scene at about 4:18 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022.
According to a report, the crash took place at about 4:09 P.M. at the intersection of Ironwood Avenue and Peacock Street.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department responded to the report of a major-injury crash at the intersection of Ironwood Avenue and Heacock Street, in the city of Moreno Valley.
On arrival, the deputies found Cesar Tadoe-Preciado, who had been riding of a 2018 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, lying unresponsive in the roadway. Cesar sustained severe, life-threatening injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene by Cal-Fire personnel. The second vehicle involved, a 2018 Infiniti Q50 sedan, was located one block east of the collision with major collision damage to the front of the vehicle. The driver of the Infiniti fled the scene.
investigations by the Moreno Valley Sheriff's Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team revealed that Cesar was traveling northbound on Heacock Street and was making a left turn onto westbound Ironwood Avenue. The driver of the Infiniti, identified as 34-year-old Jason Miller, was eastbound on Ironwood Avenue when he failed to stop for a red traffic signal and collided with the motorcyclist.
Miller was later arrested at his residence and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of Gross Vehicular Manslaughter While Intoxicated, DUI Causing Death, and Hit and Run Causing Death.
according to the authorities, Nicole Cox,30, of Moreno Valley, was identified as the subject who assisted Jason Miller to flee the scene of the crash. She was also arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of Hit and Run Causing Death and Accessory After the Fact.
