David Roberts Killed in Agoura Hills Accident on Agoura Road near Liberty Canyon Road
Agoura Hills, California (July 3, 2022) – David Roberts, 53, of Agoura Hills, has been identified by the coroner's office as the man who died in a Thursday evening collision that happened in Agoura Hills.
The incident took place at around 7:24 p.m., on June 30, on Agoura Road, nearly a third of a mile west of Liberty Canyon Road.
Authorities said that the collision occurred when one driver was heading west and another was traveling east on Agoura Road.
One of the drivers reportedly tried to pass another vehicle and entered the opposing traffic lane, where it collided head-on with the second driver.
Sadly, one of the drivers, identified as Roberts, died at the scene. The coroner's office said that Roberts died of multiple blunt force traumatic injuries.
The other involved driver was transported to Los Robles Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
An investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.

Agoura Hills, California (July 1, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday evening head-on collision that killed a man and injured another in Agoura Hills.
The deadly accident happened at about 7:24 p.m., on June 30, on Agoura Road, a third of a mile west of Liberty Canyon Road.
According to the officials, one vehicle was traveling westbound, and another was headed eastbound on Agoura when one of the drivers attempted to pass the other vehicle by entering the opposing traffic lane.
Unfortunately, the vehicle reportedly collided head-on with the second driver.
Sadly, a man, one of the drivers, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other person sustained minor injuries and was taken to Los Robles Hospital for treatment.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
