1 Injured in San Rafael Crash at N. San Pedro Road and Sunny Oaks Drive
San Rafael, California (July 3, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday night at an intersection in San Rafael, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at about 8:08 p.m. at N. San Pedro Road and Sunny Oaks Drive.
According to CHP, a Volkswagen Jetta collided with a truck, possibly head-on, for unknown reasons.
The driver of the truck sustained minor abrasions to the body.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital.
The report said one of the drivers appeared to have been drinking prior to the crash. Multiple alcohol bottles were found on the floorboard.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
