, California (July 4, 2022) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in .

The accident was reported at around 1:40 a.m. at 50th Street East and East Avenue P, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling eastbound on Avenue P and was making a right turn onto southbound 50th Street East when the charcoal Dodge Charger ran a posted stop sign and hit the Santa Fe.

The impact of the collision sent the Dodge off the roadway.

A male rear seat passenger of the Hyundai who was found in the street and a female passenger of the Dodge were injured in the crash and were transported to an area hospital.

A man and a woman in the Hyundai were not injured. A man and an infant in the Dodge were also unhurt.
