, California (July 4, 2022) – Nine people were injured in a Monday morning multi-vehicle collision in .

The accident was reported at around 6:35 a.m. in the area of and Pedley Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision, but the cause of the accident was not immediately established.

Officials say eight people were transported to the hospital with moderate to minor injuries.

Another person suffered minor injuries but refused transport.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
