Child Airlifted after Modesto Crash at 15th and G Streets
Modesto, California (July 5, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a traffic collision that happened on Monday morning in Modesto, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 11:20 a.m. Monday, July 4, at 15th and G Streets.
As per the report, the child was traveling in a wagon being pushed by an unknown person. According to an initial investigation, the child and their guardian were seen exiting the Independence Day parade in downtown Modesto while walking alongside other spectators.
Fire officials and medical personnel rushed to the scene to attend to the injured parties. A child was airlifted to the hospital for treatment. The child's name, age, and current condition were not immediately known.
The pickup driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officials.
