2 Seriously Hurt in Semi-Truck Crash on 215 Freeway in Riverside
Riverside, California (July 5, 2022) – Two people sustained major injuries in a crash involving a big rig that happened early Tuesday morning in Riverside, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at about 12:50 a.m. on southbound 215 Freeway near Martin Luther King Boulevard.
A white Honda Civic collided with a semi-truck for unknown reasons. The car got wedged underneath the semi, trapping two occupants.
Responding emergency crews said the driver of the car and a female passenger sustained serious injuries. The patients were hospitalized in unknown conditions.
No other details were given, but authorities are investigating.
