Serious Injuries Reported in Highway 101 Car Crash near Mill Valley in Marin County
Marin County, California (July 5, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a serious injury accident that happened Tuesday morning near Mill Valley in Marin County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle collision happened at around 6:30 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 just south of Seminary Drive.
Five vehicles were involved in the pileup.
Authorities said major injuries were sustained in the crash but did not mention the number of patients. Paramedics responded to the scene to offer medical aid and transport the victims to the hospital.
The collision left all southbound traffic lanes of the highway closed for almost an hour. The No. 5 lane was reopened at 7:20 a.m., and the other lanes were reopened at 7:34 a.m.
