Winnetka, California (July 5, 2022) – Steve Orellana Jr., 22, of Reseda, was among three people who were killed in a traffic crash that happened Sunday evening in Winnetka, according to the authorities.

The incident happened at around 9 p.m. on July 3, in the 19700 block of W. Vanowen Street at Corbin Avenue.

According to investigators, a Ford Explorer SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit a dip at Corbin Avenue and collided with a Toyota Tacoma pickup .

The Ford then rolled over and collided with an Audi.

Orellana was among three occupants of the Ford who were ejected by the impact of the crash.

The three died at the scene of the accident.

A fourth occupant of the Ford who was wearing a seatbelt had minor injuries.

Six other people were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.

Speed is suspected to have played a role in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.

, California (July 3, 2022) – Three people were killed in a Sunday evening car crash in Winnetka, Los Angeles.

At around 9 p.m., Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters and CHP officers responded to a collision near the intersection of W. Vanowen Street and Corbin Avenue.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

Officials say three people were killed in the evening wreck.

Seven other people were evaluated for various injuries.

The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.

No additional information about the accident was released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
