1 Hurt in Paramount Crash on 105 Freeway near Garfield Avenue
Paramount, California (July 6, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a possible major multi-car collision involving a motorcycle on Wednesday afternoon in Paramount, Los Angeles County.
The accident happened at around 2:07 p.m. on 105 Freeway, just west of Garfield Avenue.
As per the CHP officials' report, a motorcycle and two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and attended to at least one person injured in the crash. The team found the rider down on the roadway. The degree of the injuries they sustained was not immediately known.
A pregnant woman in one of the vehicles was reportedly in labor following the collision.
The total number of the parties was not immediately provided.
The motorcycle sustained significant damage, and a tow truck was requested to remove it from the scene.
A SigAlert was issued, blocking all lanes. The roadway was clear, and all lanes reopened as of 3:08 p.m.
