1 Injured in Coalinga Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Highway 41
Fresno, California (July 7, 2022) – One person was injured in a traffic collision that happened in Coalinga on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on southbound 5 Freeway near Highway 41 at around 12:19 p.m.
A white Toyota Corolla, a red pickup truck and possibly a third vehicle were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
Officials say at least one was seriously injured in the afternoon collision and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
