1 Hurt in San Leandro Car Crash on 880 Freeway near 238 Freeway
San Leandro, California (July 8, 2022) – One person was hurt in a rollover collision that took place Thursday morning in San Leandro, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened just before 3 p.m. on southbound 880 Freeway, just south of 238 Freeway.
A Kia Optima and a GMC SUV were involved in the collision. The SUV overturned and landed back on its wheels.
A male party sustained a head injury in the accident. The victim was conscious and alert and was standing outside of their vehicle.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped the motorists.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
