Rider Hospitalized after Tassajara Bicycle Crash at Collier Canyon and Highland Roads
Contra Costa County, California (July 9, 2022) – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being hit by a truck Saturday afternoon at an intersection near Tassajara in Contra Costa County.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred at about 12:19 p.m. at Collier Canyon Road and Highland Road.
A Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Ford pickup truck were located at the scene, but it was unclear which truck hit the cyclist.
The rider was taken to Eden Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
No other details were given, but authorities are investigating.
