At Least 1 Injured in Mission Valley Crash on Interstate 8 near Interstate 805
Mission Valley, California (July 10, 2022) – One person was transported to a hospital after being involved in a chain-reaction collision in Mission Valley on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at about 10:30 a.m. July 9, on Interstate 8 east of the Interstate 805 interchange.
According to the report, a Toyota Camry collided with a Honda Civic. A Volkswagen Tiguan and a Nissan Armada were also caught up in the wreck.
One motorist was reportedly transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Traffic was slowed on westbound I-8 as crews worked to clear the scene.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the incident.
