1 Injured in Lake Forest Crash on 5 Freeway near Lake Forest Drive
Lake Forest, California (July 14, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle collision that left at least one person injured on Tuesday afternoon in the area of Lake Forest.
According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided at around 12:34 p.m. June 12, on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Lake Forest Drive.
Per the report, a white minivan was stopped in the carpool lane when it was hit by a car. Following the collision, officials shut down at least three freeway lanes.
Responding emergency crews attended to at least one person injured in the collision. The name of the victim and their current condition were not immediately provided.
As they cleared the scene and conducted on-site investigations, officials warned the nearby people to stay away from the accident area.
An investigation is ongoing.
