1 Injured in Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Highway 78 in Oceanside
Oceanside, California (July 14, 2022) – One person was injured in a traffic collision that happened on Wednesday morning in Oceanside.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened on the 5 Freeway near Highway 78 at around 7:44 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered five vehicles at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
One person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated before being transported to an area hospital for treatment.
