1 Injured in Fresno Truck Accident at Cedar and Gettysburg Avenues
Fresno, California (July 14, 2022) – One person was injured in a crash involving a Fresno Fire truck at an intersection in Fresno Wednesday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident took place in the area of Cedar and Gettysburg avenues at around 2:30 p.m. on July 13.
According to the report, the fire truck was responding to a medical call and had its lights and sirens on heading west on Gettysburg Avenue.
The truck stopped at the intersection of Cedar Avenue, then as it proceeded into the intersection, the truck collided with the driver's side of a vehicle.
The driver of that vehicle was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The three firefighters in the truck were not injured.
An investigation into the crash is being conducted by the Fresno Police Department.
