1 Injured in Car Crash on 50th Street near Avenue M in Palmdale
Antelope Valley, California (July 15, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a head-on collision that happened on Thursday night in Palmdale.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 11:49 p.m. on 50th Street near Avenue M.
An SUV reportedly collided head-on with a big rig in unclear circumstances.
The crash left fluids spilled on the roadway and a Los Angeles County Hazmat unit was called to assist with the cleanup.
The SUV driver was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to taken to Antelope Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
The big rig driver was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
