Minor Injuries Sustained in Mountain View Crash on Highway 101 near Amphitheatre Parkway
Mountain View, California (July 16, 2022) – At least one person suffered minor injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon in Mountain View, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup occurred at around 12:47 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, just south of Amphitheatre Parkway.
Five vehicles, including a gray Chrysler 300 and a white GMC 2500 truck, were involved in the accident. The Chrysler was embedded under the truck's bed after the crash.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after reports of the accident.
At least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash, as per the report.
Several traffic lanes were closed for an unknown period following the collision.
