6 Injured in Anza Car Accident at Highway 371 and Kirby Road

Anza, California (July 16, 2022) – Six people suffered injuries after a two-vehicle collision on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at about 7:19 p.m. on July 15, at Highway 371 and Kirby Road.
The CHP officials said two vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to six persons injured in the collision. One of the patients sustained severe injuries due to the accident. Three patients suffered moderate injuries, while two others sustained minor wounds. Two patients were flown to the hospital for treatment, while the four others were taken to hospitals via ground ambulances.
The names of the victims were not released.
Officials closed the intersection as a result of the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
