Minor Injuries Suffered in Highway 85 Car Crash near Blossom Hill Road in San Jose
San Jose, California (July 17, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a multi-car accident that happened Saturday afternoon in San Jose, resulting in minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol said the pileup took place at about 5:07 p.m. on southbound Highway 85, just north of Blossom Hill Road.
Four vehicles, including a black Ford Escape and a Dodge Caravan, were involved in the accident.
At least one of the vehicles was occupied by juveniles. The children were able to get out of the car after the collision.
The report said the accident resulted in minor injuries, possibly to several parties. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
The Nos. 2, 3 and 4 lanes were closed for about an hour following the collision.
