4 Deputies Injured in Yorba Linda Car Accident at Imperial Highway and Casa Loma Avenue
Yorba Linda, California (July 19, 2022) – Four officers were injured in a traffic collision that occurred at an intersection in Yorba Linda on Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at the intersection of Imperial Highway and Casa Loma Avenue at around 12:30 p.m.
A vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into several patrol cars.
Four Orange County Sheriff's deputies were injured in the crash and were transported to the hospital.
The driver of the speeding vehicle was arrested at the scene.
A suspect who the police had earlier arrested also sustained minor injuries in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
