1 Severely Injured in Motorcycle Crash on 680 Freeway near Stoneridge Drive On-Ramp in Pleasanton
Pleasanton, California (July 19, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a serious injury motorcycle accident that occurred Tuesday morning in Pleasanton.
The California Highway Patrol received reports of the accident at about 7:44 a.m. on southbound 680 Freeway, just south of the Stoneridge Drive on-ramp.
A fully-dressed Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a red Toyota Rav4 for unknown reasons.
The motorbike was blocking the No. 1 lane after the accident.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with major injuries.
Some traffic lanes were temporarily blocked as authorities investigated.
