1 Injured in Collision on 5 Freeway near Stuart Mesa Road in Oceanside
Oceanside, California (July 19, 2022) – One person was injured in a car accident that occurred near Aliso Creek Rest Area in Oceanside on Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported at around 5:58 a.m. on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway near Stuart Mesa Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A box truck and a second vehicle were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
Officials say at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
