1 Hurt After San Francisco Accident on 280 Freeway near Cesar Chavez Street
San Francisco, California (July 21, 2022) – At least one person was injured following a four-car collision Wednesday afternoon in San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 2:18 p.m. on July 20, on southbound 280 Freeway, just south of Cesar Chavez Street.
As per the CHP officials, four vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and attended to at least one person injured in the collision. The total number of patients and their current condition were not immediately provided.
A SigAlert was issued closing lanes 1, 2, and 3 following the collision. The roadway was clear as of 3:21 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information regarding this incident was provided.
