One Seriously Hurt in Stockton Accident on Charter Way and Tillie Lewis Drive
Stockton, California (July 22, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a crash that occurred in the area of Charter Way and Tillie Lewis Drive in Stockton on Thursday afternoon, according to the Stockton Fire Department.
A silver Acura sedan and a black Honda Civic were involved in the collision just before 4:30 p.m.
One of the front wheels was torn off of the Honda following the impact of the accident, while the Accura came to a rest on its hood off the westbound side of Charter Way.
One seriously injured man was transported to San Joaquin General Hospital for treatment.
A woman involved in the accident was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
It's unclear whether the injured parties were riding in one of the vehicles or separately.
Authorities are working to find out what led up to the accident.
