1 Injured in Marin County Bicycle Accident on Point Reyes Petaluma Road near Platform Bridge Road
Marin County, California (July 23, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a bicycle accident on Saturday morning near Petaluma in Marin County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Point Reyes Petaluma Road near Platform Bridge Road at around 9:56 a.m.
A vehicle reportedly struck a bicyclist on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
CHP says the bicyclist was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
