1 Injured in Bakersfield Motorcycle Accident on I-5 near Grapevine Road
Grapevine, California (July 24, 2022) – One person was injured in a crash involving a motorcycle in Bakersfield on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported shortly after 10 p.m. July 23, on northbound I-5, just south of Grapevine Road.
It's unclear what led up to the collision, which is believed to have involved a bus.
The motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries following the crash.
At least two lanes were blocked for hours following the collision.
The CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
