1 Sustains Injuries after Berkeley Car Accident on 80 Freeway near University Avenue
Berkeley, California (July 24, 2022) – At least one person was hurt following a two-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon in Berkeley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred on westbound 80 Freeway, just west of University Avenue onramp at around 2:43 p.m. July 23.
Per the police, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and medical personnel arrived at the scene and aided at least one person hurt in the accident. The total number of patients and their current condition was not immediately provided.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident location.
More information concerning the accident was not provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
