Woman Hospitalized after El Cajon Car Crash on Jamacha Road
El Cajon, California (July 24, 2022) – A woman was seriously injured in a Saturday morning two-vehicle accident in El Cajon, authorities said.
The major injury accident occurred at about 11:55 a.m., on July 23, on Jamacha Road.
According to the officials, a Toyota driven by the woman tried to turn from eastbound Jamacha Road onto a private road when a female driver, a Chevrolet, hit her.
As a result of the crash impact, the Toyota reportedly flipped over, trapping the female driver.
The driver of the Toyota was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment.
One of the three people in the Chevrolet was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
