1 Suffers Minor Injuries in Oceanside Car Crash on Highway 78 near Jefferson Street
Oceanside, California (July 24, 2022) – One person was hospitalized with minor injuries after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Oceanside.
According to the California Highway Patrol, five vehicles collided at about 12:07 p.m. on westbound Highway 78 near Jefferson Street.
Officers said the accident involved a silver Honda Civic, a white Chevrolet Sonic, a blue Honda CRV, a black Ford Fusion and a gray Hyundai Tucson.
Responding paramedics transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of the pileup remains under investigation.
