Child Dies, 7 Hospitalized after Temecula Car Crash on Highway 79 and Anza Road
Temecula, California (July 25, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday evening traffic accident that killed a child and left seven other parties injured in Temecula.
The deadly accident occurred at about 6:25 p.m. on Highway 79 and Anza Road.
At least two vehicles, a pickup truck and one other, reportedly collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
According to officials, one child was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other children and one adult were seriously injured. Three other adults Sustained moderate injuries. All parties were hospitalized for treatment.
The accident stopped traffic on Anza Road for an unknown period.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
